From Custom Motorcycles to a Growing World of Dope.
Dope MOTORCYCLE AND OUTDOORS is a custom motorcycle brand based in Yokohama, Japan.
Founded in 2020, Dope began as a shop introducing custom motorcycle parts and brands from Asia to Japan.
Through conversations with riders, custom motorcycle displays at our shop, and experiences at events, we discovered needs that existing products could not fully address. This led us to develop our own products. Today, we go beyond product selection to planning and developing products ourselves.
Through Dope Thailand, we also connect Asian brands, suppliers, and manufacturers with the Japanese market, working across product development, sourcing, and logistics.

At Dope, we build custom motorcycles by combining our original products with carefully selected parts.
Rather than creating impractical one-off builds that cannot be replicated, we use parts that are actually available for purchase, allowing riders to recreate the style on their own motorcycles.
We want our custom motorcycles to inspire riders to think, “I want my bike to look like that.” Then, they can bring that style to their own motorcycle. That is what Dope custom motorcycles are about.

Dope handles product planning, design, and specification development in-house, drawing on hands-on customization experience, feedback from riders, and our own ideas.

HONDA
Collaborative Project
Dope has been involved in custom proposals and projects based on Honda's current models, contributing to planning and the design and supervision of custom styling.
For “COOL ADVENTURE STYLE,” a custom styling project based on the Honda CL250 / CL500 and supervised by Dope, Dope handled the concept and design, while DAYTONA manufactured the designed parts.

Development Request
For a Rebel exhaust, Dope approached SP TADAO with a development request. Feedback from actual riders and the needs we saw in the custom market led to the development of a new product.

Co-Development & Sales
In collaboration with Japanese comedian Yu Hamaguchi, we jointly developed and sold a dedicated seat for the Hunter Cub CT125.
In addition to product development, we also co-hosted a fan meeting, creating an event experience around the product.

CONNECTING JAPAN
AND ASIA.
One of Dope's key strengths is its network connecting Japan and Thailand.
In April 2024, we opened Dope Thailand in Bangkok. In Japan, we focus on product planning, sales, and collaborations with local shops and brands. In Thailand, we have built connections with Asian custom motorcycle brands including K-SPEED, Cub HOUSE, MOTION J, and MOTOROLD.
By leveraging our network in Japan and across Asia, we connect the two markets through brand and product introductions, sourcing, and product development.

FROM SHOP
TO CUSTOM BRAND.

2021
Original Product Development Begins
Based on direct feedback from riders and at events, we began developing original products such as handlebars and forward controls.
2022
Expanding Models & Custom Culture
Expanded into models including the Rebel 1100, Monkey, and Dax. We also held numerous CT125 and Rebel-focused meetings, growing the custom culture through direct interaction with riders.
2023
Expanding into the CL Series
Began developing custom proposals for the CL series and expanded original product development and custom projects. Dope Kansai opened.
2024
Dope Thailand Opens
In April, Dope Thailand opened in Bangkok, establishing a base for product sourcing, logistics, development, and business networking in Asia.
2025
Honda Projects & Nationwide Expansion
Expanded our activities through Honda-related projects and Dope booth installations at motorcycle dealers across Japan.
2026
Expanding Overseas
Expanded our international network and were selected for JETRO's overseas business support program. We began taking steps to introduce the custom culture and products developed in Japan to markets overseas.
